President’s message
It is my pleasure to add this message to the annual report of the Siri Dharmasiri Buddhist Vihara of Toowoomba as the president and highlight the programmes and activities organised over the past year.

Siri Dharmasiri Buddhist Vihara of Toowoomba was established in June 2020 with the support of the local Buddhist community in order to facilitate and promote the cultural and religious activities of the Buddhist community in Toowoomba.
I would like to mention some of the key services and goals we could achieve with the support, dedication and hard work of our community and members of the organisation during this period. Vas Aradhana Pinkama (Vas Invitation ritual), Katina (Robe Offering Ceremony), Meditation Retreat, Social work and so on.
This would have not been possible without the great support and generosity of our community, especially with number of difficulties we experienced in the Covid 19 outbreak. I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks and gratitude to everybody who supported us in many ways. The establishment of the Siri Dharmasiri Buddhist Vihara of Toowoomba has opened up the doors for you all to accumulate a lot of spiritual wealth and earn a great amount of inner happiness.
In the future we are plaining to organise more spiritual, cultural and social activities for the community and I would like to request your ongoing support to make them successful.
May the blessings of the Buddha, Dhamma and Sanga be with you.
Rangana Dissanayake
President
Siri Dharmasiri Buddhist Vihara, Toowoomba.
